I have 3 mic ports in the back of the pc ( "mic" black port, "l-out" with red port, "l-in" black port), 3 headphone ports (all black ports, "ss-out", "cs-out" and "rs-out") and 1 universal port on the top, black port no label. Unplugged and put into every single audio jack port.That stopped the volume slider issue, but no luck with the mic volume being detected. It never settled on a specific number, until I tried plugging it into the back of the PC where the motherboard would be. When plugging it into that port, I noticed that when turning up the mic's volume to 100 percent, the slider would jump around consistently down to 88, 91, 100, then back down over and over. Confirmed that the wire is connected to both ends, the DAC usb is connected to the blue USB port on the top of my PC (next to the power button).My response a minute after he closed, was typing for about 8-10 minutes as I went through the steps: Thank you for contacting Logitech Gaming! I got the headset itself in late 2019 and it has no signs of damage at all, very delicately treated.Īgent □ Have you tried cleaning the port with compressed air, to clear any dust or debris that could be preventing the microphone to make contact. I accidentally left the old one at a home I can no longer access, about a month ago. It looks brand new / undamaged, and the mic before this replacement one worked perfectly. I was wondering if there was anything else I could try?Īgent □ Is there any signs of damage on the microphone port in your headset? Nothing seems to help it, and using it on different computers / PCs has no luck either. I've tried updating all the drivers, switching from logitech to microsoft drivers, uninstalling and reinstalling g-hub, and even completely uninstalling and reinstalling all of my sound drivers for my computer. I am using a logitech pro x wired headset. It was bought off amazon for 35$ and officially packaged ( ) and I've done all the troubleshooting steps and more to try and get it to work, with no success. Me: I've been trying for the past day now to get my replacement mic working for my headset. The Agent's suggestions / comments will be put in bold. Hopefully someone else (whether it be another user or an agent) can help solve the problem for me. Second off, I'll repost the steps and information that was discussed with an agent who didnt wait for me to actually complete the troubleshooting steps before ending the session. I want to start this off by saying Logitech's live support is frustrating.
